These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of FactonHub and all related services operated by FactonHub ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using any part of the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use FactonHub.
FactonHub is a digital evidence vault and notarization service. It enables users to:
FactonHub is a Digital Notary tool, not a law firm. Nothing on FactonHub constitutes legal advice. Blockchain timestamps and cryptographic proofs may or may not be admissible as evidence depending on your jurisdiction, the type of proceeding, and how evidence is presented. You are responsible for consulting a qualified legal professional before relying on FactonHub evidence in any legal proceeding.
You agree to use FactonHub only for lawful purposes. You must not:
FactonHub offers a free Starter tier and paid tiers (Pro Shield, Max Vault). Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis; contact [email protected].
Once a fingerprint is anchored to the blockchain, it cannot be removed or modified. This is an inherent property of blockchain technology. FactonHub cannot delete blockchain records on your behalf. If you delete your account, your blockchain transactions remain permanently on the public ledger, but your personal association with them is removed from our systems.
You retain full ownership of any documents, media, or content you submit to FactonHub. By using the service, you grant FactonHub a limited, non-exclusive license to process your files solely for the purpose of generating cryptographic fingerprints and certificates as described in these Terms. We do not claim ownership of your content.
FactonHub is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that blockchain transactions will be confirmed within any specific timeframe. Blockchain network congestion or outages are outside our control.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FactonHub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or legal outcomes, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FactonHub, its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or other conduct harmful to the service or other users. You may delete your account at any time via Profile → Delete Account.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. For EU/UK users, mandatory consumer protection rights under your local law are not affected by these Terms. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of the jurisdiction where FactonHub is registered, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the service.
